Receive Guidance and Support as You Grow Through Changes: Once your mini goals are set, you’ll receive support throughout our time working together. We’ll have weekly calls that involve open communication and active listening to help you refine your goals and progress towards your long-term objectives. I’ll provide guidance as needed and create a nurturing space for you to expand your experience and knowledge in this new field! If needed, I’ll share insights and suggest strategies to overcome obstacles and I’ll be by your side to encourage you to take on new challenges, build relevant skills and expand your network. As a mentor, I’ll be asking questions to understand your needs and listen to your concerns and feedback. I’ll also offer constructive feedback along the way as you progress towards your goals.
Foster Accountability and Continuous Learning: Accountability is key to achieving your career goals. I’ll help you stay accountable by regularly checking in on your progress, reviewing actions and discussing any setbacks or challenges you maybe facing, including lack of confidence and mindset blocks. Setbacks and challenges are absolutely normal and expected when doing something new and this is when having a mentor by your side will be absolutely crucial and invaluable. You’ll be encouraged to reflect on your experiences and learn from both successes and failures. This’ll be a space to promote a growth mindset by discussing small shifts that can enhance your professional development. You’ll also be encouraged to build a network of peers within your industry to foster ongoing learning and support after our time together.
