Stepping into my purpose and understanding my mind changed my life, but before that I was unfulfilled, disconnected, overwhelmed and confused.

For a long time, I didn’t know who I was and what I wanted in life, but meditation gave me clarity, peace of mind and helped me discover my purpose.

At the height of my career in the insurance industry, I worked on Wall St. and lived in NYC making six figures a year. From the outside, one might assume I was living the life. But on the inside, I felt empty and unsatisfied.

Deep down, my soul was yearning for more. I deeply desired a career I loved and I wanted to make a positive impact in the world. 

At that point, I had been practicing Yoga consistently for seven years and had heard interesting things about meditation. I was intrigued and felt like it would give me answers and help me navigate this big life transition I felt coming so I applied for a one month meditation program in Bali.

At the same time I had been traveling a lot, which showed me a new life I could live. It was specifically a sailing holiday in Croatia that really changed things.

On that trip, I met people who were traveling for three months, six months and even a year, which was so inspiring (as an American, I didn’t know anyone else doing this and it planted a seed in my mind).

By the end of that trip I could hear a voice say, “Rebecca, You’re going to work on a yacht” even though I had no prior experience and the pull to pursue travel full-time was strong.

Once I got accepted into the meditation program, I knew I wasn’t going to Bali for one month and then back to busy NYC so I decided to leave everything behind.

In 2017, I quit my job, left New York City and decided to travel indefinitely. I was ready to try new things and for the first time in a long time, I felt free.

I traveled for three years and found myself meditating in Bali every spring, clearing out the clutter in my mind. Every summer I was working on yachts in Europe falling in love with the Adriatic Sea and in the winters, I was volunteering at a Buddhist center strengthening my meditation practice and better understanding my needs.

At other times of the year, I was traveling around the world leading Yoga and Meditation retreats in Cambodia, Ibiza and coastal Croatia, truly giving myself permission to test what felt good in terms of a new career. I loved traveling, sailing, meditating and discovering new places and the real me.

This was my unconventional path that forever changed my life and answered the burning questions I had for 10 years sitting at that desk wondering, “Who am I & What is my purpose?!”

Little did I know I would leave NYC for good and settle in Croatia! Soon after, I started my own business helping people change their lives through meditation and mindfulness coaching.

Through the practice of mindfulness meditation, I had some of the most profound realizations that permanently changed my life. I became more relaxed and less anxious. I felt more supported and less worrisome. I developed confidence and even had the intuitive insights to create the meditation program I teach today, which people love! When you start meditating, you too will began to understand yourself on a deeper level and become acutely aware of your inner gifts and unconscious needs that might be overlooked. With practice, you’ll begin to resolve what remained unresolved, express what had been repressed and tended to anything that needed attention.

I recognize that for many, this inner exploration can feel overwhelming, often leading others to give up before they tap into their inner gifts. This is where I come in. I understand this process intimately and guide others through it so they can move beyond the constant mind chatter to a place of powerful presence enabling real change to unfold.

  • #3. I once traveled for three years and lived out of a backpack. I've traveled to over 40 countries. My favorite places were Bali and Croatia.

  • #6. The first career I explored after quitting my corporate job in NYC was yachting! I've sailed on the Amalfi Coast, Greece, Miami, the Bahamas, St. Tropez and in Croatia.
