Common Questions
Do I need any meditation experience to start?
Not at all! These private meditation classes are perfect for mindfulness meditation beginners or more experienced practitioners who want to advance their practice and improve their overall well-being.
How long are the mindfulness coaching and meditation classes online?
First, we start with a meditation workshop, which is about 75 minutes. Then, we meet regularly for guided meditations and mindfulness coaching sessions. These private meditation classes are online and about 45 - 60 minutes and include a guided meditation and a brief discussion on important mindfulness and meditation practices. However, we can shorten the coaching sessions to 30 minutes if you have limited time.
When will I start to see changes after meditating?
Typically within 4-12 weeks, but every person is different. You’ll probably fall into one of these three categories: you could notice an immediate change and feel a shift in your feelings, thoughts and behaviors right in or after the first meditation class. Or your change is incremental and you notice consistent shifts every day, or steadily over time. Or you don’t notice changes right away until one day you look back and notice all of the things that are different in your life. No change is right or wrong, good or bad. The process that unfolds for you is perfect and acceptance in however it looks will be of significant importance throughout working together.
How long should I take private meditation classes online for?
This really depends on you and and how things unfold overtime. Some clients I work with for one month, some I meditate with for one year. However, I find clients are having the best results at the 6 - 9 month mark, which is why I created a three month renewable meditation program. I do ask you to meditate on your own everyday to help build up the habit of being Present and increase your confidence meditating on your own. Building up the habit of being present and creating a new routine takes time, but working together will ensure quicker and faster results. Also, I’d like to note you can have meaningful insights and realizations in just a couple of classes. Many clients report being able to make positive changes in their life right away, so it really varies but all of it will happen in perfect timing.
Are one on one meditation classes only completed online or in person?
One to one meditation classes are only offered online. We’ll book in advance for the month and you’ll receive an invite link through email. I am American but work remotely from Europe, specifically GMT+1 time zone.
Are private meditation classes online as effective as private meditation classes in person?
A meditation class online is just as effective as it is in person. Also, many often tell me they love the convenience of being able to practice meditation and learn about mindfulness from the comfort of their own home.
What does mindfulness meditation feel like?
The experience will vary slightly for everybody and will depend on where you are in this moment. Most people feel relaxed, aware and at ease and that’s what we’re working towards, but we accept and remain compassionate towards all experiences we encounter, which is at the heart of mindfulness meditation. What’s most important is to know that your meditation practice will evolve over time. Therefore, how it feels now may feel very different after one year.
What if I tried mindfulness meditation and it hasn't worked before?
Working with a private meditation coach is going to get you better results and it will take all the confusion out of your practice so it will work. With 10 years of meditation experience, I’ve tried a lot of different meditation styles and encountered a wide range of experiences. Therefore, I’ve created an effective meditation sequence and I will be able to guide you through all different experiences, ensuring a smooth and relaxing journey.
I’ve also tried a wide range of meditation styles and have developed a simple, results-driven meditation framework that’s easy to understand and implement and fits seamlessly into your daily life.
Do you use Aum in private meditation classes?
No, we do not use Aum in meditation classes, but we can if you would like to. I’ve tried many practices and I’ve taken the essentials to create a simple and effective mindfulness meditation sequence for modern day professionals like you and me. However, we will work with mudras, inner points of awareness and simple breathing techniques as they significantly increase focus and concentration, encourage relaxation and they are easy to learn and incorporate into meditation.
Will I have a mystical experience while meditating?
I thought this would happen as well, but 99% of the time, it doesn’t. If something does happen I will provide a space for you to safely express yourself and we will move through anything you need together.
I’ve tried everything to stop overthinking — will this work?
If you feel intuitively drawn to meditation and have a strong desire to improve your life and well-being through self-exploration, self-discovery and self-understanding practices, then you’re in the right place. In the initial consultation, we’ll discuss if one on one meditation classes are appropriate for you and determine if it’s a good fit. Please note, I’m not a therapist and can only share the practices and tools I’ve used that have made a positive impact in my life, but many clients work with me and their therapist or psychologist side by side and state they notice quicker growth and lots of similarities. Some have even stated they have had better results with mindfulness and meditation.
Do we discuss or use manifestation practices?
Meditation, mindfulness and manifestation practices go perfectly together. We can explore manifestation knowledge and practices as desired.
Do I have to pay for private meditation classes in full?
Payment is requested in full. Please let me know if you would like a payment plan.
How can I make payment for the meditation classes?
Payment is accepted through bank transfer, Zelle, PayPal or Venmo. Once payment is received, we can schedule the meditation workshop and meditation classes for the month.
