Unexpected things you could do as an entrepreneur running your own business remotely...

  • Take a day off" on a Tuesday (without having to ask anyone for permission!) and attend a festival in Varaždin! @spancirfest was a super fun event! Rock band Franz Ferdinand performed and totally took the already awesome event to the next level. I've never explored Varaždin, but this was such a charming town and fun fact, it used to be the capital of Croatia!

  • Change up your work atmosphere and work from a café instead of home, enjoying specialty coffee and chill vibes

  • Travel to different places for an extended period of time. Maybe visit Portugal with best friends, explore a new destination (like central Istria - very excited for this in the autumn since I LOVE CROATIA) or revisit a place you fell in love with when you were nomading around the world for three years (can't wait to experience dreamy Amalfi coast again in a 10 days!)

  • Spend extra quality time with your dog, taking them for a nice long walk, then meeting your friends after for a delicious lunch

  • Set your schedule how you desire giving you freedom in your day (sometimes scheduling is easier said than done, anyone know what I'm talking about? )

  • And my favorite - take a midday nap!

Never in a million years did I envision myself as someone who’d be living in a foreign country working remotely or an entrepreneur running their own passion-driven business, but here I am (and you could be too )!

What are some of the things running your own business allows you to do? Or have you ever thought of starting your own business?
